A micropipe element, which is utilized for observing the biological activity of biologically active substances and the growth of cells or biological tissues, and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The micropipe element includes a cell culture medium pipe supplying a cell culture medium from the outside; a cell culture unit which is connected to the cell culture medium pipe and which cultures cells by utilizing the cell culture medium supplied from the cell culture medium pipe; a cell injection pipe which is connected to the cell culture unit and which injects the cells into the cell culture unit; and an opening unit which opens and closes the cell injection pipe for separating the cell culture unit and the cell injection pipe from each other. The manufacturing method of the micropipe element includes a step of preparing a cell culture layer on which the cell culture medium pipe supplying the cell culture medium, the cell culture unit which cultures the cells by using the cell culture medium supplied from the cell culture medium pipe, and the cell injection pipe injecting cells into the cell culture unit are formed inside; a step of preparing a pipe opening layer on which the opening unit which opens and closes the cell injection pipe is formed inside; and a step of joining the cell culture layer and the pipe opening layer.
