PURPOSE: A remote automatic control system and a controlling method thereof is provided to enable actions in advance to prevent accidents or to give an alert before yearly changed data exceeds a restriction value. CONSTITUTION: A remote automatic control system and a controlling method comprise the following steps: A resistive leakage current measuring unit(110) measures the resistive leakage current occurring in the line of a consumer. An arc and leakage current intercepting unit(120) is installed in the line of a switchgear or a cabinet panel. A battery monitoring unit(130) watches the battery charging state or the resting life of an emergency generator or a charger. A high frequency and power factor monitoring unit(140) detecting the voltage waveform in the line of the switchgear and monitors a power factor. A monitoring control and data acquiring unit(160) delivers the measured value of the power quality items through a communication unit.
