PURPOSE: A touch screen device and a touch screen menu control method thereof are provided to supply an intuitive menu use interface by displaying a menu popup window including menu buttons, controlling scroll on the menu buttons based on the moving trajectory of touch input, and controlling the display of sub menu popup windows for the menu popup window.;CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(111) senses touch input generated on a touch screen. A maintenance checking unit(112) checks whether the sensing of the touch input on the touch screen is maintained for a preset time. If the sensing of the touch input is maintained for the preset time, a popup window forming unit(116) forms a menu popup window including a UI(User Interface) having menu buttons arranged in a length or breadth direction. A popup window display unit(113) displays the formed menu popup window.
