The hydraulic excavator side protection combination maintenance foothold

A side protection-cum-maintenance foothold of an excavator is provided to prevent accidents by protecting both sides of an upper rotating body of an excavator while excavating and to promote the convenience of maintenance by using as a foothold for maintenance while stopping. A side protection-cum-maintenance foothold of an excavator contains: a brace(20) fixed to supporters(12) which are provided with pin holes(12a) and installed on both sides of an upper rotating body of an excavator to bear the deadweight and load of the brace and to protect both sides of the upper rotating body; and a guide frame(22) provided with pin holes(22a) to couple with the pin holes of the support using pivot pins and fixed to the brace to move the brace vertically. Hereon an elastic body(30) is fixed to the front of the brace to protect both sides of the upper rotating body against external impact.
