PURPOSE: A DNA aptamer which specifically binds on the surface of probiotics of Listeria monocytogenes is provided to detect the probiotics in a sample of processed food products, dairy products, water, cookers, and water resources. CONSTITUTION: A DNA aptamer specifically binds on the surface of probiotics of Listeria monocytogenes. The DNA aptamer is an oligonucleotide with 90% or more homology with a base selected from sequence numbers 1-12. A composition for detecting probiotics of Listeria monocytogenes contains the DNA aptamer as an active ingredient. A kit for detecting the probiotics of Listeria monocytogenes contains the DNA aptamer as an active ingredient. A method for detecting the probiotics comprises: a step of contacting the DNA aptamer with a sample which is considered to possibly have the probiotics; and a step of identifying the probiotics conjugated with the DNA aptamer.
