PURPOSE: A device for testing the performance of a motorized steering gear is provided to perform a static torque test and an input pressure property test simultaneously in a process of reciprocating a rack pinion once from one end to the other end.;CONSTITUTION: A device for testing the performance of a motorized steering gear comprises a cylinder fixing unit(1), a distance measuring unit, a torque measuring unit, a pressure measuring unit, a rack pinion rotating unit, and an oil pressure supply unit(19). The cylinder fixing unit fixes a cylinder housing unit(113). A rack bar(105) is fitted so that the cylinder housing unit is installed. The distance measuring unit measures a straight reciprocating distance of the rack bar. The torque measuring unit measures torque axially added to a rack pinion(103). The pressure measuring unit measures a change in pressure which is added to a hydraulic device(111). The rack pinion rotating unit rotates the rack pinion in left and right sides.
