STOLEN VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM WHICH INQUIRES IF THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER, THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBER, AND THE VEHICLE GLASS IDENTIFICATION CODE ARE IN ACCORD AND A METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A stolen vehicle identification system and a method thereof are provided to prevent degeneration and corrosion of and damage to an identification code by using a plasma coating technique or an anodizing technique in manufacturing a vehicle glass identification code.;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle information identification camera (100) photographs the vehicle glass identification code and the license plate of a vehicle in real time and transmits identification code data and the image of the license plate recognized from the photographed image to a monitoring server (200). If the vehicle identification number in relation to the identification code data is not in accord with the vehicle identification number corresponding to the vehicle registration number, the monitoring server generates abnormal vehicle data. A vehicle registration agency server (300) receives the identification code data and the image of the license plate from the monitoring server, searches for the vehicle registration number corresponding to the vehicle identification number included in the identification code data, and sends the found number to the monitoring server.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (AA) Communication network
