PURPOSE: A variation increment based intermediate view depth image generation method of a stereo depth image is provided to generate an intermediate view point depth image from a left-right view point depth image with an improved speed.;CONSTITUTION: Disparity values are obtained by performing stereo matching with a depth image having pair with a first sample image with respect to all pixels of the first sample image having first or second depth. A disparity value having the maximum frequency is obtained in the displacement values of the pixels. A disparity increment per depth is obtained by dividing each increment of the first and second disparity values into each increment of the first and second depth values. A disparity value of an intermediate view point depth image using the disparity increment per depth is obtained.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
