PURPOSE: A device for detecting and checking damages of a wire rope is provided to easily analyze causes of the damaged wire rope, thereby reducing the waste of resources and preventing damage to equipment and casualties.;CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting and checking damages of a wire rope includes a detection unit (100) and a central management unit (200). The detection unit, which is operated according to remote control signals, detects the existence of damages of a wire rope and photographs the damaged portion, thereby wirelessly transmitting to the central management unit.
