PURPOSE: A touch screen panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the whole number of channels by connecting division electrodes to the same channel in the same direction as a direction of electrodes composed of the division electrodes in a sub electrode group.;CONSTITUTION: A basic electrode group (500) is formed of a conductive material on a transparent substrate, composed of sub electrodes connected with independent sensing channels, and arranged on a touch screen panel at regular intervals. Sub electrode groups (510,520) are composed of division electrodes (550,552,560,562) and arranged between the sub electrodes at regular intervals and division electrodes in the same direction are connected with the same channel.
