PURPOSE: A mobile SNS application group management method and a group management server thereof enhance user satisfaction by identifying and displaying only those instant messages sent by members of a certain group, which has been set as an important group by a mobile SNS application user.;CONSTITUTION: A group management server receives and stores the targets to be grouped from a grouping target setting mobile device (S602). The group management server receives instant messages of a mobile SNS application from other mobile devices (S604). The group management server sorts out the instant messages regarding the grouping targets (S606).
