PURPOSE: Tree digging system and method capable of preventing the falling of soil during a transportation process are provided to enable users to easily dug up a tree for transplanting. CONSTITUTION: A tree digging system(100) comprises the following: a side surface supporter(20) formed with plural panels capable of arranged around a soil ball including the root of a tree for transplanting; a soil ball supporter(10) digging up the soil ball by separable connected to the side surface supporter; a supporter fixing unit located on the outside of the soil ball supporter for connecting the side surface supporter and the soil ball supporter; a beam member with the lower side contacting the soil ball supporter; first and second bean connection members fixed to the soil ball supporter and the panels, and the lower and upper sides of the bean member; an outer frame(212) formed on the outer edge of a flat plate(211); a reinforcing bar(213) fixed to the outer frame; and first and second angles(31, 32) located on both sides of the panels. The soil ball supporter is formed with plural sheet piles connected to each other.
