PURPOSE: A container for transporting trees and a method for digging up trees using same are provided to simply perform work of digging up trees to transplant plants and to conveniently transfer the trees. CONSTITUTION: A container for transporting trees includes a plurality of main members(110), a plurality of corner members(120) located between main member, and a plurality of coupling devices(130) coupling the main members and the corner members. The main member has a first flat plate(111) and a first protrusion section(112) formed according to the circumference of the first flat plate. The corner member has a second flat plate(121) and a second protrusion part(122). The coupling device includes a hole(113) of the first protrusion part, a coupling body(132) inserted into a hole of the second protrusion part, a first member(131) including a coupling stopper(134), and a second member(135).
