Three-dimensional urban modeling apparatus and three-dimensional urban modeling method

PURPOSE: A 3D city modeling apparatus and method are provided to create the 3D mesh of an actual texture using DTD(Digital Terrain Data) and aerial and ground images. CONSTITUTION: A building model generator(74) creates a 3D building model. A DTM(Digital Terrain Model) generator(76) generates an inputted DTM model into a 3D mesh. The DTM generator creates a 3D DTM. A texture extractor(78) extracts the texture of the 3D building model and the 3D DTM. A model matching unit(80) matches the 3D building model and the 3D DTM.
