The present invention relates to a remote meter reading gas meter which is not influenced by an external magnetic field. The driving drum displaying the number of days in the drum accommodates driving magnets on the inner circumferential surface of which the N pole and the S pole are attached to the left and the right, respectively, and the sensor unit is located on one side of the flow rate display unit, A reed sensor for generating a pulse signal when the driving magnet is on and close to each other, and a reed sensor case accommodating the reed sensor in a hollow form and epoxy-molded, the reed sensor corresponding to an extension line in the length direction of the reed sensor A pair of bias magnets whose N poles face the reed sensor on both outer sides of the case; A shield cover which accommodates the lead sensor case and the bias magnet and shields external magnetic force in a ball shape, and a sensor wire electrically connected to both ends of the lead sensor and transmitting the pulse signal generated when the lead sensor is turned on. . The present invention uses a bias magnet and a metal cover to protect the external magnetic field to facilitate the operation of the reed sensor, so that gas measurement is stable and reliable. In addition, only a sensor part may be attached to a part of a conventional gas meter, and in the event of a failure of the sensor part, only the sensor part may be replaced, thereby reducing costs.
