FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of inert gases and may be used for preparation of krypton-xenon mix from oxygen flow bled from air separators with the content of krypton and xenon in amount of 0.05-0.5%. Proposed method comprises cleaning the flow of gaseous primary concentrate by catalytic burning, subsequent cooling, removing the products of catalytic burning, cooling after removing the products of catalytic burning, separation by rectification in rectification column with the formation of krypton-xenon mix and the flow of bowing oxygen and discharging the flow of said mix from rectification column as the target product, and removing radon from krypton-xenon mix. Note here that the flow of gaseous primary concentrate is formed from primary concentrate by discharging liquid primary concentrate into storage and forcing it into steam heat exchanger for evaporation and formation of gaseous primary concentrate. Pressure whereat said liquid primary concentrate is forced into heat exchanger is set to the level sufficient for production of the target product. Note here that liquid nitrogen is used as a coolant in separation by rectification while radon is removed on discharging the krypton-xenon mix from the column. Proposed device comprises liquid primary concentrate storage, steam heat exchanger, receiver, hydrocarbon burning unit, water heat exchanger-cooler, unit of adsorption removal of burning products, main heat exchanger, recuperative heat exchanger of off-gases, nitrogen separator, rectification column with condenser and evaporator, radon adsorber, system of gasification and filling of cylinders, and first through eleventh valves.;EFFECT: expanded operating performances.;4 cl, 1 dwg
