A battery (10) of energy storage devices for an electric technological machine (100), having a housing (12) for accommodating several energy storage devices (52, 54, 56, 58) with galvanic cells, as well as electric pole terminals (22, 24), to which the positive poles (52a, 54a, 56a, 58a) and negative poles (52b, 54b, 56b, 58b) of the energy storage devices (52, 54, 56, 58) are electrically connected, characterized in that at least one pole terminal ( 22, 24) is made in the form of a contact assembly (30) containing at least two electrically separated contacts (22a, 22b, 24a, 24b). 2. The battery of energy storage devices according to claim 1, characterized in that the contact unit (30) is made to provide electrical connection with the mating pole terminal (122, 124) when mated with it in accordance with the purpose of the battery.
