FIELD: mining.;SUBSTANCE: when investigating surface areas that are potentially perspective for root sources of diamonds, correspondence of results of the conducted investigations of surfaces areas to a set of criteria is established. Mineralogical criteria: available minor minerals of diamond - garnets, chrome-spinelides, chrome-diopsides of lherzolite and dunite-harpburgite paragenesis, minerals of eclogite paragenesis, ore minerals, glasses and spherules. Geochemical criteria - diatremes of Tuffisites are fixed with complex lithogeochemical abnormalies both of sidero-lithophylous group and chalcophylic group. Tectonic criteria - within the section there widely spread are elements of thrust and fault tectonics; significant number of diatremes is associated with places of their intersection. Geomorphological criteria - elements of modern relief correspond to elements of thrust and fault tectonics, thus forming intermountain depressions. Geophysical criteria - diatremes are located in surface areas of development of low-resistance zones, negative magnetic field and local abnormalies of gravity field.;EFFECT: improving efficiency of exploration works on diamonds of Tuffisite type.;8 dwg
