The invention relates to the field of non-destructive contactless control based on machine vision and can be applied to mechanical production for automatic control of the gap width between the turns in the manufacture of twisted products. An object of the claimed utility model is to calculate and control the inter-track width of the gap between the turns in the manufacture of twisted products. Solution of the technical problem, and technical result of the claimed utility model is achieved in software and hardware complex machine vision to determine and control the width of the inter-track gap, comprising controlling a sensor coiling the material width to the analog output, a controller, a source of optical radiation, the receiver of the reflected optical radiation from the focusing optical system, an input device and a PC sound and light signaling device. Summary of the utility model is illustrated a block diagram (Figure 1) which shows a block diagram of hardware and software of computer vision to determine and control the inter-track width of the gap.
