The system (1) has a light guide (2) comprising a small zone (4). A light source (14) i.e. LED, generates light that is injected into the zone of the light guide. The light guide has slots for an electrical connector (10). The electrical connector is utilized for electrical connection between an information display device (16) and an electronic control circuit i.e. printed circuit board (PCB) (44), of the information display device. A layer of non-electrically conductive light absorbing layer is coated in the light injection zone of the light guide.
