The frame has soffit elements (33), a camber element (27) and a railing element formed from a self-supporting, pressure-resistant insulating material. The soffit elements and the camber element have regions including plates made of an insulating material with different heat conductance values. Lower ends of the soffit elements are connected with each other by an insulating body, which form the railing element. Insulating plates and a weather-resistant plate material are arranged at surfaces of the soffit elements and the camber element.
