The winder has two cable winding spring drums arranged at right and left sides of the winder, and a lock pawl mechanism for fixing a cable to the spring drum. The spring drums enable cable connection and power transmission from a 230 volt alternating current network to a power supply part of a personal computer (PC) notebook, where the power supply part supplies 12.4 volt direct current. The spring drums are provided with a cable lift. A pressure switch is located on a lateral drum utilized for rewinding the cable.
