The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of ceramic surfaces on the basis of zirconium oxide, wherein– the surface with a blasting method, and subsequently treated and roughened– with a first etching process a micrometer - morphology of the surface is produced and then– with a second etching process a sub - micrometers - morphology of the surface is produced.
