Method for adjusting supercharging pressure in internal combustion engine of small vehicle, involves controlling actuator element based on pressure difference between absolute pressures in charge air duct and charge air side end cell
The method involves controlling an actuator element (D) arranged in a cold gas housing (11) in dependence on a pressure difference between an absolute pressure in a charge air duct (2) and an absolute pressure at a charge air side end cell, where the pressure difference is measured by a differential pressure sensor before entry of air into the charge air duct. The measurement of the pressure difference is carried out as high temporal resolution differential pressure measurement. An independent claim is also included for a pressure wave supercharger for an internal combustion engine.
