The terminal (1) has a filling chamber (3) in flow connection with an outer chamber (2) over an access port (5). A closure part (4) i.e. ball valve, is moved from a locking position in which the closure part closes the port against resistance of a returning unit (7) i.e. spring, to a passage position in which the port is opened. An outer side of the filling chamber includes a holding unit (8) for fixing an air duct (10) inserted into the filling chamber over the port. The closure part is transferred into the passage position while inserting the duct before fixing the duct by the holding unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an air duct to a valve with an air line terminal.
