The filter (101) has a flow path (103) for the particles and a magnetisable body (105) for generating a magnetic field in the flow path for a magnetic adhesion of the particles on the body. The body has a periodic structure (107) for generating a periodic magnetic field in the flow path. The structure is formed as lamellar structure which has two opposite-lying plates, where the flow path is formed partially between the plates. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for filtering magnetic particles; and (2) a method for manufacturing a filter.
