The method involves applying a bonding agent (20) on a surface of layers (7, 7', 7'', 7'''), during arranging of the layers. The layers are placed successively in a drape form (1) for forming or curing a multi-layer preform. Two different moderate temperature maintaining systems e.g. electrical resistance heating and/or peltier elements, are used for controlling temperature of the layers in a die or male part. One of the systems is arranged closer to the layers. The maintaining system is electrically operated and the other system is operated with fluid, which comprises water, oil and/or vapor. An independent claim is also included for a device for forming and/or curing a multi-layer preform.
