The support has a prism carrier (3), a support frame (10), and two contact surfaces (2) enclosing an axis of a Cartesian coordinate system. The contact surfaces are mounted on the prism carrier. The prism carrier is adjustable in height in another axis of the Cartesian coordinate system with regard to the support frame. The support frame comprises an alignment device for alignment of the support frame in a third axis of the Cartesian coordinate system. An independent claim is also included for a system for calibration of flow meters.
