The windscreen wiper device (4) has a wiper arm (6) which is provided for generating the wiping movement over a rear window (2). An end of the wiper arm is connected with a wiper blade (8), while other end of the wiper arm is connected with a wiper shaft (10) through a wiper receptacle. A resilient joint (12) such as hinge or elastomer element is provided at the end of wiper arm made of plastic material. The axis (A) of resilient joint is bent vertically at an angle of 45 degree.
