The device (1) has a wiper arm (2), which implements a wiping movement over a disc of a motor vehicle, and at which a wiper (3) is accommodated by a wiper receiver (4). The wiper receiver has a catch recess for snapping a receiver bar, and a guidance recess, which is spatially separated from the catch recess, for transmission of wiping force to the wiper arm. The wiper receiver is surrounded by a frame shaped wall, which forms a receiver contour.
