An Illumination unit (15) illuminates a document (2) arranged in camera space (12) surrounded by housing (11), by a controller (32) coupled with an interface (33). A receiving unit (41) is arranged at outer side, to receive a mobile phone (4) equipped with a camera (52). A camera lens (51) is arranged at front side of opening (28) formed in housing, for detecting the document in the camera space. The interface (33) is connected to an interface (55) of mobile phone, to control the illumination unit by an application executed in a processor unit (61) of mobile phone. An independent claim is included for a method for administrative review of security document.
