The centering device (18) has a movable brake shoe (16) for injecting a brake disc between brake shoe and counter shoe (14). A fixed carrier element is provided for receiving brake shoe and counter shoe. Centering springs (26,28) are provided for centering brake shoe and counter shoe partially at fixed carrier element (20) by brake disc. The brake shoe and counter shoe are sprung by retaining springs for determining position of centering element (22). The brake shoe and counter shoe are positioned separately in centering element by centering springs. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) disc brake; and (2) power train for combustion engine.
