The polymer concrete for producing shape-, structure- or components for indoor and outdoor regions, is claimed, where the polymer concrete is made of a mixture consisting of a filler or a filler mixture (83-88 vol.%), a resin or a resin mixture (12-17 vol.%), a curing agent or a curing agent mixture (1.5-2 vol.%), and an accelerator or an accelerator mixture (0.8-1.4 vol.%) based on the resin content, where the filler or the filler mixture is formed of crushed rocks, rock flour and/or untreated and/or unclassified sand. The polymer concrete for producing shape-, structure- or components for indoor and outdoor regions, is claimed, where the polymer concrete is made of a mixture consisting of a filler or a filler mixture (83-88 vol.%), a resin or a resin mixture (12-17 vol.%), a curing agent or a curing agent mixture (1.5-2 vol.%), and an accelerator or an accelerator mixture (0.8-1.4 vol.%) based on the resin content, where the filler or the filler mixture is formed of crushed rocks, rock flour, and/or untreated and/or unclassified sand. The curing agent or curing agent mixture and the accelerator or the accelerator mixture comprise a chemical composition and/or a molecular structure co-ordinated with the respective filler or filler mixture. The filler or the filler mixture is contaminated and/or mixed with an organic material. A synthetic fiber and/or a natural fiber is introduced in the filler or filler mixture. Colored pigments and/or dyes are uniformly distributed or introduced, in the form of a pattern or marbling, in the filler or filler mixture. The polymer concrete mixture with a colorless gelcoat having high abrasion resistance and/or weatherability is wrapped as a surface layer (2) with a high mechanical and/or chemical resistance. Organic particle and/or inorganic particle such as glass particles, metal chips and/or stone fragments is introduced in the gelcoat. An independent claim is included for a process for preparing a polymer concrete.
