The system (1) is provided with a household appliance (2), which has a saving mode, in which an operating process of the household appliance is started based on an external activation signal, where an energy management device (3) is provided for dispensing the activation signal to the household device to lead the operating process into saving mode of the householder appliance. The household appliance has a switching unit for coupling the household appliance with an electricity network. The switching unit is switched between a standby-state and an active-state.
