The LED lighting device comprises a LED array (2) having a first set of LEDs (3a-3f) and a second set of LEDs (4a-4l) which are connected to a common power supply and having same connection. The LEDs (3a-3f) generate light having first quality, while the LEDs (4a-4l) generate light having second quality. The light qualities are different from each other. The LEDs (3a-3f) emit light in the direction of the first to-be-illuminated regions, while the LEDs (4a-4l) emit light in the direction of the second to-be-illuminated regions.
