The assembly (2) has an axially symmetrical movable element (14) i.e. piston, movable along axial direction relative to an axially symmetrical casing (8). An annular magnet (20) is attached with magnetic poles arranged in the axial direction on the axially symmetrical casing, and another annular magnet (38) exhibits reverse polarity in comparison with the former magnet. The latter magnet is radially surrounded by the former magnet. The magnetic poles of the former magnet are arranged behind respective opposite poles of the latter magnet in a holding position along radial direction (56). The annular magnets are designed as permanent magnets. The magnetic poles are designed as a north pole (26) and a south pole (32). An independent claim is also included for an electric motor.
