Solid polymer electrolyte comprises at least one copolymer containing (a) at least one repeating unit derived from a polymerizable ionic liquid having a structure of formula (-[CH 2-C(R1)(C(=O)-O) l-A1-B1]-) (I) and (b) at least one carbonyl repeating units of formula (-[CH 2-C(R1)(C(=O)-O) l-D1-H]-) (II) and/or (III). R1 : H or CH 3; l : 0 or 1; A1, D1 : a mid-block comprising -[(CH 2) m-O]-, -[C(=O)NH]-, -[C(=O)O]-, -[C(=O)-O-C(=O)]- or -[CH 2]-; B1 : cationic residue; and m : 1-12.
