The vehicle seat (1) has a seat base (10) for supporting a seat part (2). The seat base is pivotally mounted to a support unit about a rotational axis (D). A latch part (40) is provided for locking the seat base. Two tabs (20,30) are provided, where the former tab is provided and adapted to engage the latch part for locking the seat base in a position, into a recess. Another tab is provided and adapted to engage the latch part for locking the seat base in another position in to another recess. An independent claim is included for a seat arrangement.
