The method involves preparing a mold body (14) in partial contact with a master model (40). The mold body is partially formed with a positive mold corresponding to a negative mold of a component e.g. mold component, in a resilient container (16) that is filled with a granulate material e.g. small grains. A production of external pressure is acted on the container from an outer side of a receiving chamber, where the external pressure is high compared to inner pressure that is obtained in the receiving chamber. A master pattern is introduced out of contact with the mold body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a component (2) a device for manufacturing a mold for manufacturing a component.
