The suspension (10) has a wishbone (14) arranged at height of a wheel rotational axis (32) or at a wheel carrier (12) that is positioned below or in front of the wheel rotational axis. Two forward-facing trailing arms (18, 20) are linked above and below the wheel rotational axis at the wheel carrier. Another wishbone (16) is formed as a link determining a wheel track, and arranged at height of the wheel rotational axis or below and behind the wheel rotation axis on the wheel carrier. The former wishbone comprises a profile that is resistant to bending in vertical and transverse directions.
