The folding box has a coherent material cutting portion (2) made of cardboard that is provided with folding surfaces which are divided by separation bars (5,13,26). The material cutting portion is provided with folding portions (6,9,22) to form folding surfaces at which two parallel extending edge strips (7,8,11,12,24,25) are formed. The parallel extending edge strips are connected by separation bars. The edge strip of predetermined folding portion is connected with edge strip of another folding portion.
