An electrochemical electrode has a planar substrate (2) containing ceramic oxide, glass ceramic or glass, potential serving board element designed as a conductor guide element which is made of platinum (3), contact pad, and glass membrane having thickness of 50-100 mu m, and containing silica, sodium oxide, lithium oxide, potassium oxide, calcium oxide, ferric oxide and/or ferrous oxide. An independent claim is included for manufacture of electrochemical electrode.
