Apparatus useful for externally illuminated visualizing of a machining process carried out using a high-energy processing beam, comprises a processing beam source, a processing beam path, a visualizing beam path, and an illumination module
Apparatus comprises: a processing beam source; a processing beam path (16) for directing the processing beam to a machining point (28), which comprises a processing beam optical path of a coupling element (20) with a wavelength-dependent reflectance and transmittance; a visualizing beam path (24) comprising a deflecting device (32) having a reflective region, directs the visualization light, which is passing from the machining region, and is decoupled from the processing beam optical path, on a visualizing apparatus by the coupling elements; and an illumination module. Apparatus for externally illuminated visualizing of a machining process carried out using a high-energy processing beam, comprises: a processing beam source; a processing beam path (16) for directing the processing beam to a machining point (28), which comprises a processing beam optical path of a coupling element (20) with a wavelength-dependent reflectance and transmittance; a visualizing beam path (24) comprising a deflecting device (32) having a reflective region, directs the visualization light, which is passing from the machining region, and is decoupled from the processing beam optical path, on a visualizing apparatus by the coupling elements; and an illumination module, where the illuminating light generated by the illuminating module enters into the reflective region passing towards the visualization beam path, and enters to the machining point by longitudinally passing through the portion of the processing beam optical path located between the coupling elements and the machining point by the coupling elements; or the illuminating light generated by the illuminating module enters only into an inner portion of the reflective region and is deflected from inner portion to the visualization beam path in the direction of the coupling elements, and enters to the machining point by longitudinally passing through the portion of the processing beam optical path located between the coupling elements and the machining point. An independent claim is also included for a deflecting element for use in the above mentioned apparatus, comprising a glass plate having at least one reflective region and at least one transmissive region.
