The energy storage has a moving mass that is formed by a liquid such as water. The moving mass is a circular closed tube (1) that stores kinetic energy. The tube is provided with a friction reducing surface coating. An energy feeding device (5) and an energy delivery device (6) are provided in the tube for conversion between electrical and kinetic energies. The amount of liquid is varied.
