The actuator module has a release section (11) that is detached by an operation of a pyrotechnic actuator unit of a retainer (10), in order to release a traction unit (13). The traction unit together with the release section is separated from the retainer in separable state, and is coupled to the release section. The traction unit is connected with the release section, such that the traction unit is aligned successively at an angle of 45 [deg] , 40 [deg] , 35 [deg] , 30 [deg] , 25 [deg] , 20 [deg] , 15 [deg] , 10 [deg] , 5 [deg] and 0 [deg] along the longitudinal axis of retainer in a tensioned state. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) gas bag module for vehicle safety system; (2) vehicle safety system; and (3) method for influencing form of gas bag.
