The device has an extruder (1) that is provided with motor propelled plasticizing screw (13). A feed device (3) is arranged at the extruder to supply the flow material e.g. recyclable rubber material to supply region of extruder. The motor propelled screw mixes the flow material with stripy material (6) e.g. rubber in extruder. An auxiliary mixing device is arranged before the extruder for further mixing of the flow material and stripy material in extruder to produce homogenous material. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing rubber molded article.
