The ring comprises a ring inner wall facing a passenger compartment inner space and a ring outer wall facing away from the passenger space inner space. A ring core is arranged between the ring inner wall and the ring outer wall. A sandwich structure and/or a carrier structure are formed by the ring inner wall, the ring outer wall and the ring core. The energy absorptance element is designed as a front wagon or rear end of the vehicle.
