The vehicle (1) has a tower (3) rotated against a tank (2), and a display device (5.1) arranged at a tank-fixed fixed-point. An equipment receiver (11) receives a piece of equipment e.g. measuring device (6), where rotation motion of the receiver is coupled to rotation motion of the display device. The display device is arranged in a rotation axis (T) of the tower, and a highest point of the display device is arranged above the tower. Directional motion of the receiver is coupled to directional motion of the display device in elevation. The receiver is detachably arranged at the vehicle. The measuring device is formed as a laser-supported distance measuring device. An independent claim is also included for a method for aligning a piece of equipment of a military vehicle.
