The steering apparatus has a steering shaft (2) which is operatively connected to the steering handle. An electric actuator (3) is arranged for providing steering assist force to the steering shaft and/or an overlay angle for one of the steering handle to the steering shaft coatable set point steering angle. The steering shaft and/or component (4) of the actuator are operatively connected with a damped mass-spring device (5). The excitation of vibrations of components of the power steering is prevented by the damped mass-spring device.
