The vehicle (100) has an air cooler (116) for cooling a liquid by air, and a flow channel (132) for supplying an air flow to the air cooler. A cleaning apparatus cleans the air cooler and/or the flow channel. The apparatus has a cleaning flow device, which removes dirt that is collected at the air cooler and/or in the flow channel during operation of the vehicle, together with a part of the air flow through a cleaning channel. The cleaning channel is provided with a valve such as flap. A flow device (134) comprises a ventilator or a fan for driving the air flow in the flow channel. The air cooler is designed as an engine air cooler, a hydraulic and/or a climate radiator of a motor, a hydraulic device and/or an air conditioning device of the vehicle. The cleaning channel is designed as a bypass pipe. The cleaning apparatus is designed as a dirt suction device. The dirt consists of grass cuttings or dusts such as flower dust.
